Jason & Rachel Wedding

As the summer season ends in the Pacific Northwest, the colors change and the cold fall air starts its journey. The cascade mountains east of Seattle are stunning. Jason & Rachel were drawn to the mountains for their inspiring wedding day. As we traveled out to photograph their outdoor ceremony, we drove right into a heavy rainstorm! As we got closer, there seemed to be a perfect break in the weather 5 minutes away from the venue. We couldn’t have asked for better timing, and definitely an answered prayer.

Rachel & Jason had planned an amazing weekend getaway with their closest friends and family. Their venue had multiple cabins within walking distance of the main location. After capturing getting ready moments, we headed off for an emotional first look. We then drove out on a super fun adventure. We shot for nearly 3 hours, and although windy and cold, we were able to avoid the crazy storm raging miles away. We headed back to the venue for the intimate ceremony. They had prepared personal vows to each other that were so loving and sentimental. During Jason’s vows, he broke out a very “non-embarrassing” dance move showcasing his love for Rachel. Her reaction was priceless! The ceremony was beautiful, raw and inspiring.
